Francesca Cavallerio completed an MSc in Clinical and Community Psychology at the University of Torino, Italy, in 2009, before specialising in the area of Sport Psychology, after coaching for many years. Francesca completed an MSc in this field at the University of Roehampton and then a PhD, focusing on athletes’ psychosocial wellbeing in elite youth sport. She started working at Kingston University straight after her PhD, then joined Anglia Ruskin University in January 2017, where she teaches sport and exercise psychology and qualitative research methods.
