The sporting arena still remains one of the most difficult environments for people to be themselves. It’s a rapidly improving situation thanks to the pioneers who came out as gay whilst being successful sports people. However, we are still a long way off the locker room being a fully comfortable place for LGBTIQ athletes.

You will find all interviews, articles and videos here and we would encourage you to be part of the discussions and to share what we put up to the wider sports community.

A fantastic resource (mainly US Based athletes) for you to browse through is OUTSPORTS and specifically the “Coming Out Stories” section which is full of inspirational stories of athletes from a range of different sports who have come out and continue to be athletes.
