Jocelyn Brewer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (with majors in Human Geography and Performance Studies), a Diploma of Education (Secondary), and a Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology. She is a registered general Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and a board-endorsed supervisor of provisional psychologists.
Jocelyn’s passion and expertise is in the psychology of technology. She has developed a concept called Digital Nutrition – a framework for teaching principles of a healthy, sustainable relationship to technology. She is also a Masters of Applied Science candidate at Sydney University’s Health Sciences Faculty, where she is investigating the relationship between mindfulness and self-control on Year 7 students’ proneness to Problematic Internet Use (PIU).
