Mental health is as important as physical health. Healthy head spaces make for stronger, happier and more self-aware athletes! The sporting world has a responsibility to athletes and the wider community to break down the stigma associated with mental health issues so they can be tackled head on. Many areas of sport are beginning to recognise this responsibility and provide mental health support to athletes, but there is still much to be done – which is where CTL comes in!
We offer a safe space where you can access articles, fact sheets, podcasts and other resources that help athletes with their mental and emotional health, including tools to help overcome everyday challenges that might be affecting both their lives and performances. This is also somewhere where you can share your story of mental health and life after sport, maybe for the first time.
